FAQs
When should I drop off my bouquet?
The sooner the better!
For best results, we recommend dropping the flowers off 24-48 after your event. To help keep flowers fresh cut the stems off about half an inch at an angle and put them in fresh water. Keep them in water and out of direct sunlight until you can overnight ship them. Forty-eight hours is the maximum that I can take the flowers otherwise they will not preserve well.
The condition in which we receive the flowers plays a vital role in the quality of the preservation. Some flowers dry better than others. If there is browning on the flowers they cannot be used. Due to the nature of flowers, they can have bruises from being handled all day at the wedding, packaging and shipping, floral design etc. even if you don't notice it, through the drying process and the resin, it can become more apparent. Bruising on petals can show up as translucent spots.
Can you preserve already dried flowers?
Yes, but I cannot change the shape, or color of them. The flowers will not be as vibrant as the other fresh flowers sent to me to be professionally dried but still a great way to preserve your memory!
What is your turnaround time?
It can take up to six months to finish a piece. The flower drying process takes 4 weeks to dry. Then the resin must be poured in layers so that it doesn't burn the flowers.
How will my flowers look?
Flowers are subject to change colors due to the drying process, particularly red and white flowers, White roses tend to turn ivory or off white, Red roses can turn into a dark, burgundy color. Also the condition we receive the flowers greatly impacts the way they preserve. Bruising on petals can show up as translucent spots on the petals. The best way to avoid bruising on flowers is to use high quality flowers and to take extra good care of your flowers before they make it to me. Like
keeping out of the sun not and putting them in water as soon as possible. If flowers are in foam they tend to brown a lot quicker. We try our best to minimize bubbles, however due to the chemical reaction in resin sometimes unavoidable. This product is handmade art and imperfections are possible.
Do you do artificial flowers?
Yes!
Is there an order minimum?
Yes, there is a $250 order minimum
When should I book?
Summer months are busy and we can only accept so many orders so the sooner the better but we do accept last minute orders.
Where are you located?
We are located in Vineyard, Utah right next to Orem. We do accept flowers from out of state but they must be overnighted for them to survive, which can be pricey. Please follow the shipping instructions on how to properly mail them so they do not get ruined. We are not responsible if your flowers are damaged during shipping.
How to care for my resin piece?
To clean your piece use a soft, microfiber cloths and alcohol. Keeping your pieces away from direct sunlight helps the resin stay clearer for longer. All resin can amber over time. To help with this we use a high quality, resin that has UV inhibitors. Even if a piece ambers/yellows it does not take away from the preservation but gives it a unique vintage look.

How to package fresh flowers for mailing them:
Try to keep the flowers in water as long as possible until shipping. Do not put the flowers in direct sunlight. Place in a cool dark place. Please overnight ship them to ensure the best results. I need the flowers 24 hours after the event for them to look the best. 48 hours is the maximum. Flower turn brown quite easily.
Supplies needed:
• Medium size box
• Small box
• Ice packs (optional)
•Packing paper, etc
• Paper towels
• Tape
Directions:
1. You need a box a little bigger than the bouquet (a couple of inches taller than the whole bouquet, you can cut the stems down to help with this) or you can opt for a Styrofoam cooler box with icepacks
2. Get a smaller box and cut a hole to put the flower stems in as the base. Don't make the hole too big. Then tape the box down securely to the bigger box. (this acts like a vase for the flowers so they will stay secure) make sure it's taped really well so it's secure and does not fall out.
3. Wrap wet paper towels around the stems only. Then cover the paper towels portion with plastic wrap to keep the moisture in. Do not use bubble wrap as they will kill the flowers. Also Ziploc bags around the icepacks can help with any drips of water to not get on the flower and create mold. Don't use ice cubes as they will just melt and ruin your flowers.
Keep flowers upright in the box and put, wrapping paper, paper towels bunched up around the flowers but be careful not to crush flowers
Order info: write your name, what you sent, and what mold you wanted, on a slip of paper inside the box
*To help with shipping cost don't get too big of a box
Suggest using UPS or Fedex.
Write fragile on the box!
